General situation
The Alps will be affected by moist southwesterly currents and relatively cold air masses.
Fairly widespread precipitation will occur during the morning. Snow limit between 400 and 700 m, locally lower in the early hours of the day. In the afternoon, the precipitation will ease off in most parts of the region.
Minimum temperatures close to zero, maximums between 1° and 5°.

Forecast
Friday will continue with very cloudy weather. At first it will be snowing in many places, but in the morning northerly föhn winds will dry the air in most valleys. At higher altitudes, it will remain unsettled for longer.
On Saturday there will be a mix of sun and clouds and it will remain windy.
Sunny weather is likely to become widespread on Sunday. The north wind will ease.
Clouds will increase again on Monday and precipitation is possible in the afternoon and evening.
