General situation
The upper-level flow shifts to the northwest, and with a cold front, air masses of polar origin reach the Alps.
Monday starts dull and wet. Over the course of the day, a northerly föhn will dry out the air and in some areas the clouds may break up a bit. In the evening, a few more showers will move in from the north. At the same time, with gusty strengthening winds, the snow line will drop to around 1000 m.
Temperatures will reach highs from 8°C in Bruneck to 14°C in Bozen.

Forecast
On Tuesday the sun will shine from early morning until late in the day, with the sky often completely clear. As the day goes on, the northerly wind will weaken. Temperatures will be noticeably lower than recently.
Wednesday will also be quite sunny and cool. A few harmless clouds will pass far above the peaks.
Thursday is expected to bring a lot of cloud and some localised rain. The snow line will lie between 600 and 1000 m.
Friday will remain mostly overcast.
