Dolomites - UNESCO World Natural Heritage
On Friday, 26th June 2009, the Dolomites were placed on the prestigious list of Natural World Heritage Sites. The decision
was made by UNESCO at its annual world congress.
UNESCO was enchanted by the beauty of the Dolomites: pointed spires, jagged summits and glorious colors that change throughout
the day. At sunset the Dolomites turn a fiery red, then change to violet before disappearing into the night. This is
the “Enrosadira” – a phenomenon caused by the unusual chemical composition of dolomite – a natural spectacle that is beyond compare.

On a skiing holiday in the Robatscher apartments, you can happily
park your car and forget about it. The free ski bus will collect you from the nearby bus stop and drive the 500 metres to
the Carezza Ski region's Laurin Lift I and then you can ski
back to within 200 metres of the front of the house.
With the public bus you reach in 15 minutes the Skicenter Latemar Obereggen.

WINTER HOLIDAYS IN THE DOLOMITES
New lift facilities and slopes in Carezza - Karersee from December 2008
The artificial snow-making facility with 170 snow machines guarantees snow. The Carezza - Karersee ski resort offers some
great highlights this winter season. The "Hubertus" circular cable railway for 8, and the new automatic chairlift for

Those who want to make sure there is enough snow for their sun skiing adventure, will definitely find everything they long for at the
bottom of the Catinaccio Mountain: a new artificial snow-making facility with 170 snow machines guarantees snow from December to April. Starting
this winter, the Carezza Snow Guarantee guarantees snow on 98 percent of slopes!
40 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes with various levels of difficulty, and two new slopes ("Hubertus Slope" and "Latemarwiesen Slope")
offer the possibility of skiing, carving, snowboarding, telemarking at the highest level in a unique Dolomite landscape.
The great cross-country tracks, winter hiking paths, toboggan runs, the new Antermont Snow Park, and an adventurous evening programme with night
skiing and night sledging guarantee variety.
Carezza is the secret meeting point for those who love the sun: with an average of 8 hours of sun per winter day, Carezza is one of the sunniest
ski resorts in South Tyrol.
The best of all: the ski resort is conveniently situated and accessible: within only 20 minutes of the Bolzano North (Bolzano Nord) motorway exit
to the sunniest ski resort in South Tyrol between the Catinaccio and Latemar Mountains. The connection lift from Nova Levante to Carezza brings all
skiers quickly and comfortably up the slopes. Thanks to the high transport capacities there is no waiting time to be expected.
